Seno: The municipality of Gorgadji concluded the third edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with a raising of the national colors followed by a sanitation operation at the local Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the day began at Gorgadji B school with a solemn raising of the national colours, performed to the rhythm of the Ditany¨ sung in the Moore language. The ceremony was attended by military and paramilitary authorities, officials from decentralized education and health services, traditional and religious leaders, as well as representatives of associations, humanitarian projects, and numerous members of the public.
The headmaster of Gorgadji B School expressed his gratitude to the administrative authorities for choosing his school to host the closing ceremony. He also acknowledged the strong mobilization of the educational community around the event, noting that the functioning of the school symbolizes the resilience of the people of Gorgadji.
On behalf of the president of the special municipal delegation, the Commander of the Gorgadji gendarmerie, Ardjouma Ki, representing the PDS, delivered the message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. He encouraged the people to embrace this message by practicing it, particularly through the production and consumption of local products. Commander Ki emphasized that local production is key to leading Burkina Faso towards endogenous development and true sovereignty. He also urged the Burkinabe people to unite and stand together to defeat the terrorist threat.
Following the flag-raising ceremony, participants proceeded to the Gorgadji Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) to carry out a sanitation activity, demonstrating their patriotic commitment through concrete actions. Through this dual activity, the municipality of Gorgadji marked its active participation in the JEPPC, reaffirming its commitment to the values of civic duty, patriotism, and national solidarity.
