Revolutionaries of Faso Movement Unveils First Roundabout in Ouahigouya

Ouagadougou: The Revolutionaries of Faso movement inaugurates a roundabout in sector 8 of Ouahigouya. The technical advisor to the governor of the Yaadga region, Youssouf Sawadogo, represented the regional authority at the inauguration ceremony of the roundabout of the Les Revolutionnaires du Faso movement, the first of its kind in the city of Ouahigouya, on Sunday, April 19, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the governor's message, delivered by his technical advisor Youssouf Sawadogo, highlighted that the new roundabout symbolizes the commitment of various social groups, particularly the youth, to supporting progressive and popular revolution efforts in the Yaadga region. The roundabout is intended to serve as a community gathering point to foster support and awareness for the authorities and the Burkinab¨ people's struggle.

The coordinator of the Faso Revolutionaries movement, Sadou Mohamed Sawadogo, who spearheaded the roundabout project, acknowledged the backing of the authorities, especially His Majesty Naba Kiiba, King of Yatenga. He emphasized that this new space would promote patriotic actions, civic-mindedness, citizenship, and social cohesion within the city. Sawadogo expressed pride in the project's realization, noting that the roundabout would be a venue for spreading messages of support and awareness, particularly aimed at the youth.

Assami Guiro, the provincial coordinator of the CNAVC Yatenga, urged the youth of Ouahigouya to organize and collaborate with the FDS and VDP to restore peace in the country. During the inauguration ceremony, ALP MP Youssouf Ouedraogo, presidential envoy Marcel Sawadogo, and Sanb-Naba, the spokesperson for His Majesty Naba Kiiba, commended the initiative of the Les Revolutionnaires du Faso movement.

A fundraising campaign was launched immediately following the ceremony to support the Faso Mªbo Agency.
