Ouagadougou: Toma Centre A school emerged as the victor in the OSCLEP 2026 final, defeating Zouma A with a narrow 1-0 scoreline. The final match of the Organization of Sport, Culture and Recreation in Primary School (OSCLEP), 2026 edition, took place on Saturday within the Basic Education District (CEB) of Toma.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was graced by the presence of the president of the special delegation of Toma, educational officials, and various administrative, customary, and partner authorities. These officials commended the smooth execution of the cultural and sporting activities, while highlighting their significance in the educational journey of the students. They also urged the stakeholders to continue reinforcing this educational and social framework.
The match saw an early breakthrough when Toma Centre A took the lead with a goal scored in the 6th minute. Zouma A made several attempts to level the score but were unsuccessful. The second half saw no change in the score, resulting in a victory for Toma Centre A.
In addition to football, awards were distributed across various disciplines such as traditional wrestling, dance, ballet, recital, and theatre, which exhibited the diverse talents of students from the Toma Basic Education District in Nayala. Initiated last January, OSCLEP has been a platform for teachers, students, and partners to come together around the principles of solidarity, discipline, and community living.
