Kampti Basic Education District Conducts Mock Exam for CM2 Students

Kampti: The Kampti Basic Education District (CEB) organized a provincial mock exam this Tuesday for CM2 students, in order to strengthen their preparation for the 2026 Primary School Certificate (CEP) exam. As with other districts in Poni province, this mock exam aims to assess the candidates' level and identify any shortcomings to be addressed before the official exam. For this purpose, educational supervisors from the various training zones were deployed to oversee the exams.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Inspector Djiami Pal©, the educational supervisor for Zone A, conducted a follow-up visit to Centre A School, where he observed the smooth running and organization of the exam. He emphasized that this activity is fully aligned with the CEB's efforts to improve academic performance. 'We came to encourage the students and ensure the smooth running of the tests. This mock exam is an important step that allows candidates to familiarize themselves with the real conditions of the CEP,' he said.

Inspector Pal© also urged students to demonstrate courage, discipline, and focus in order to meet the challenge of achieving the required results. He emphasized that the goal is to surpass the 90% pass rate set by the district for the 2026 CEP exams. Among the candidates, Gnanou Assa, a student in the final year of primary school, expressed her determination to succeed. "I prepared well with my teachers and my parents. This mock exam allows me to better understand the tests and correct my mistakes. I will do everything to pass the CEP," she confidently stated.

This initiative reflects the commitment of education stakeholders in Kampti to ensure better results and promote excellence in schools.
