Massako Children’s Festival’s Second Edition Draws Significant Attendance

Seguenega: The second edition of the Massako Children's Festival (FEMA), dedicated to cultural promotion and community living, was held from April 18 to 20, 2026, on the departmental grounds of Loropeni.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the festival was held under the theme "Loropeni, land of resilience and unity" and attracted several notable figures from the municipality. The festival's promoter, Claver Soulama, stated that the initiative aims to promote local cultural values while fostering community spirit through recreational and educational activities.

The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Loropeni, Faon-Nignin¨ Jean Damasc¨ne Some, welcomed the initiative and expressed his gratitude to the organizers. He emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to promote social cohesion and civic engagement.

In addition, Togo Pale, the representative of the sponsors, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting young people and actions that contribute to the promotion of local culture. The program for this edition featured varied performances, including sketches, traditional dances, artistic entertainment, and a shopping street.

The festival witnessed a strong turnout of people during the three days of activities.
