Dokuy: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Dokuy municipality, Abdoul Ouahbidi Sibiri 2 Guingane, presided over the closing ceremony of the sports, cultural, and recreational activities of the Dokuy Basic Education District (CEB) on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The final match saw Makuy School defeat Kamadena School 2-0.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the final match of the sports, cultural, and leisure activities of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Dokuy was marked by the domination of Makuy School over Kamadena School. Makuy secured its first trophy with a score of 2-0.

During halftime, the ceremony was enriched with lip-sync performances and a recital. Prior to the football final, athletics events were held for both boys and girls, rewarding the most deserving participants.

The ceremony was further graced by the presence of the provincial director of pre-school, primary and non-formal education, Frederic Nindamou Yehoun, as well as the patron of the ceremony, Salou Sidibe. Anselme Taro, the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), emphasized the significance of this edition as a testament to resilience amidst current challenges and commended the efforts of all involved in its success.

Salou Sidibe expressed satisfaction with the honor bestowed upon him, while Abdoul Ouahbidi Sibiri 2 Guingane, President of the special delegation of Dokuy, reiterated his commitment to supporting CEB activities within available resources.
