Komondjari: The municipality of Bouroum-Bouroum commemorated International Workers' Day on Friday, May 1, 2026, in a friendly atmosphere, under the banner of sport and living together.

According to Burkina Information Agency, various sporting and recreational activities mobilized the population, including aerobics sessions, a popular cross-country race, board games, and a football match between local youth and a team of civil servants.

Brahima Kindo, president of the Bouroum-Bouroum special delegation, stated that this initiative aims to strengthen ties between the various socio-professional groups in the municipality. He also urged workers to combine their efforts to address the country's current challenges.

The football match, played in a spirit of fair play, ended in a goalless draw (0-0). The celebration concluded in a festive atmosphere, marked by a live concert.
