Kampti: Chief Warrant Officer Sansan Martial Noufe, affectionately known as "El Pointo," has taken the helm of the Kampti municipal police, embodying a profile shaped by discipline, experience, and a high sense of duty. Officially installed in his position on May 6, 2026, Noufe is recognized for his professional rigor, unwavering commitment, and human approach.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Sansan Martial Noufe began his journey with the National Police in 2005 as a Police Assistant. He completed basic military training at the Armed Forces Training Group (GIFA) before attending the National Police School (ENP), where he earned both a military certificate and a professional training certificate. In 2007, he was assigned to the Eastern Regional Directorate of the National Police, progressing to various roles, including armorer at the Group of Republican Security Companies (GCRS) of Fada N'Gourma and communications officer at the Central Police Station (CCP) of Bogande.
A methodical worker, Noufe's career trajectory included assignments to the CCP of Po in 2011, Orodara in 2012, and the District Police Station (CPD) of Banzon in 2013. His strong leadership skills led to a recall to the National Police Academy as a trainer for new police officers. He later returned to the ENP as a combat and OTC trainer, where he was noted for his professionalism and ability to impart knowledge.
In 2019, Noufe was appointed team leader for interventions and arrests at the Regional Judicial Police Service, where his actions earned him commendations and recognition for efficiency and duty. Assigned to the Gaoua CCP, he led efforts against incivility in Bafuji, significantly reducing such acts through methodical operations.
Known for his sociable nature and respect for colleagues, Noufe is also recognized for his work rigor and rule adherence, qualities that have garnered him the esteem of superiors, colleagues, and the community. His commitment and sacrifices have been acknowledged with the National Police Medal of Honour.
Noufe was later placed at the disposal of the ministry in charge of territorial administration before being appointed commander of the Kampti municipal police. As a dedicated advocate against incivility and road insecurity, he remains a respected figure in awareness-raising techniques in Gaoua.
