Soum Population Mobilizes in Support of Defense Forces at Military Camp

Djibo: The people of Djibo reaffirmed their commitment to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) on Thursday through a day of community work organized at a military camp in the city. This mobilization was hailed as a powerful symbol of solidarity and unity in the face of security challenges.

According to Burkina Information Agency, very early in the morning, men, women, and young people mobilized in large numbers to participate in reinforcement work within the military compound. In an atmosphere of fraternity and patriotism, the participants contributed to the security efforts undertaken by the fighting forces.

Equipped with shovels, picks and other equipment, the civilian volunteers worked alongside the FDS and the VDP, thus demonstrating their willingness to support the defense actions of the Soum province.

Several participants stated that this initiative demonstrates the population's determination to further support the forces deployed on the ground. They also affirmed that this spirit of solidarity will continue in the coming days to strengthen ties between civilians and the military.

This citizen action illustrates, once again, the growing synergy between the population and the fighting forces in the struggle for the security and stability of the province.
