Bangrin: The Lorop©ni Basic Education District (CEB) organized, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, the final of the cultural and artistic activities led by the office of the Organization of Sport, Culture and Leisure in Primary School (OSCLEP). The event brought together students, teachers, supervisors and guests for moments rich in discovery, sharing and appreciation of local cultural heritage.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the head of the organization, Zakaria Sor©, stated that the cultural day was designed to reveal the artistic talents of the students while strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, social cohesion, and community living. Mr. Sor© highlighted that these activities provide a framework for learning and expression, fostering self-confidence, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility among participants.
Mr. Sor© praised the involvement of all contributors to the event's success, including supervisors, partners, and students. He encouraged the continuation of such initiatives to promote cultural and civic values.
At the conclusion of the competitions, the Obir© public primary school secured first place in traditional Gan dance, while Centre "A" triumphed in the Lobi dance category. The Lokosso school excelled in Dioula dance, and Lokosso-Gan school took the lead in Moor© dance. In other categories, Lorop©ni sector 3 school won first place in theatre, and Centre 'B' claimed victory in recital.
