Sourou BAC 2026 Sports Tests Begin with 514 Eligible Candidates

Sourou: The High Commissioner of the Sourou province, Désiré Badolo, officially commenced the sports events of the Baccalaureate for the 2026 session at the Tougan municipal high school. This event was attended by the president of the special delegation of Tougan, Ouigou Tiendrebéogo, the provincial director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training of Sourou, Joseph Karambiri, along with members of the defense and security forces.According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 514 candidates, consisting of 261 boys and 253 girls, have been deemed eligible to participate in the sports tests for the baccalaureate in Sourou province. These candidates are distributed across three commissions. Mr. Badolo emphasized the importance of the sports tests as the beginning of the Baccalaureate examination process and called on all participants to fully commit to the event.The High Commissioner expressed optimism for the smooth conduct of the examinations in all centers within the province. He urged fairness from the examiners and praised the defense and security forces for their role in facilitating a seamless examination process.Noufou Ki, a candidate and student at the Tougan municipal high school, shared his readiness and determination to excel in the sports events, acknowledging the significance of these tests as highlighted by the High Commissioner.In continuation of the event, Joseph Karambiri, the provincial director, visited additional examination sites to monitor the proceedings and motivate the involved parties.
