Houet: Muslim Worshippers in P©ni Advocate for Peace and Social Cohesion


Houet: Muslim faithful in the commune of P©ni celebrated the Tabaski festival on Wednesday in an atmosphere of religious fervor and fraternal communion. Gathered at the site of the main prayer, Muslims implored Allah for peace, security, and social cohesion in Burkina Faso. In his sermon, the Grand Imam of the P©ni mosque, Bassory Dao, offered his wishes for health, peace, and prosperity to all the faithful.



According to Burkina Information Agency, he also urged the people to cultivate understanding and solidarity among the sons and daughters of the nation. Addressing the youth in particular, the imam emphasized their role in preserving peace and building a harmonious society.



Present at this celebration, the president of the special delegation of the commune of P©ni, Moumouni Ou©draogo, wished a happy Tabaski festival to the Muslim faithful of P©ni and all of Burkina Faso. He also called on citizens to respect the laws of the Republic, reminding them that the country’s development cannot take place in anarchy.
