Tougan: The Muslim faithful of Founzan celebrated the Tabaski festival this Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Gathered in the town hall square, they prayed under the guidance of Imam Gaoussou Seynou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during the prayer, blessings were offered for peace, social cohesion, and stability in Burkina Faso. Imam Gaoussou Seynou also prayed for the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, as well as for all those involved in securing the country.

The ceremony took place peacefully, in the presence of the Security Forces, including the police and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) mobilized to ensure the smooth running of the event.
