Kénédougou: Muslim Worshippers in Djigouèra Pray for Peace and Social Cohesion

Kénédougou: Muslim worshippers in the commune of Djigouèra celebrated the Tabaski festival this Wednesday in an atmosphere of peace, fraternity and sharing at the town's main mosque. From the early hours of the morning, Muslim faithful mobilized to perform the great prayer of Eid al-Adha, in the presence of the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Djigouèra, Dè Millogo, as well as several local and customary authorities.According to Burkina Information Agency, in his sermon, Imam Madou Traoré invited the faithful to cultivate the values of forgiveness, solidarity, tolerance, and living together. He urged the people to preserve unity and social cohesion, essential for peace and development in Burkina Faso. The imam also offered prayers for the return of peace, security, and stability to the country. After the prayer, Imam Madou Traoré proceeded with the sacrifice of the sheep.
