Ioba Announces 5408 Candidates for 2026 CEP Exam Session

Kaya: A total of 5408 candidates have registered for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) exam and entry into sixth grade for the 2026 session, as announced by Tibouo-ion Romaric Som©, the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Ioba.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Tibouo-ion Romaric Som© shared this information during the national colors raising ceremony on Monday, June 1st. The announcement highlighted that the candidates are spread across 10 examination boards within the Basic Education Districts (CEB), and the exams will be conducted in 34 centers this year.

Mr. Som© expressed gratitude towards the educators and staff who have diligently prepared the candidates for the upcoming CEP exams. He extended his best wishes, hoping that the results will reflect the hard work and dedication of all involved.

Furthermore, the DPEPPNF of Ioba assured that previous challenges linked to the integrated examination and competition management system (SIGEC) have been successfully addressed.
