Ouagadougou: The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bªbgnasgnan Stella Eldine Kabr©/Kabor©, along with a Burkinabe delegation, participated in the National Day of the Italian Republic ceremony organized by the Italian Embassy in Burkina Faso on June 2, 2026. This event marked the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic’s establishment in 1946 and served as a platform for celebrating the strong friendship and cooperation between Italy and Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Italian ambassador to Burkina Faso, Gabriele Di Muzio, emphasized the robust exchanges facilitated by the Italian Cooperation Agency. He reiterated Italy’s commitment to supporting Burkina Faso in stabilizing the country, addressing humanitarian challenges, and enhancing socio-economic development.
Gabriele Di Muzio stated, “Working for the benefit of our friendly Burkinabe people is the reason for our presence here. We believe in a lasting partnership based on shared values and mutual respect.” The event underscored Italy’s dedication to its partnership with Burkina Faso, reflecting a continuous commitment to shared goals.
