Sandbondtenga: The Ziga Basic Education District (CEB) has achieved a remarkable success rate of 96.67% in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) for the 2026 session. This marks a significant increase from the 76.62% success rate recorded in 2025, reflecting an improvement of over 20 percentage points.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the CEB had registered a total of 651 candidates for the exams, 630 of whom actually participated. After the deliberations, 609 candidates were declared successful, indicating the district's outstanding performance.
Edmond Oudraogo, the head of the Ziga Basic Education District, expressed satisfaction with these results. He credited the achievements to the sacrifices made by all those involved in education. Oudraogo emphasized the district's significant progress, highlighting the leap from 76.62% in 2025 to 96.67% in 2026.
Amadou Konvolobo, president of the Special Delegation of the municipality of Ziga, also extended his congratulations to the CEB participants for their commendable results.
