Kndougou: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Koloko recorded a success rate of 97.25% in the Primary School Certificate (CEP), 2026 session, with 636 admitted out of 654 candidates presented. The results were announced last Saturday at the General Education College (CEG) of Koloko, in the presence of the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), educational supervisors, secretaries, correctors as well as many actors in the educational world.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the CCEB, Nouf Bertrand Hien, congratulated the admitted students and all the district staff for their efforts throughout the school year. He also commended the commitment of the teachers, educational supervisors, parents, and students who, in his opinion, greatly contributed to this achievement.

Comrade Hien recalled that when he took office in 2016, the CEB's pass rate for the CEP was 55%, before steadily increasing over the years to reach over 97% today. He welcomed this progress, which he considers the result of collective work and the ongoing commitment of the various stakeholders in education.

While expressing his satisfaction, the head of the CEB invited educational stakeholders to maintain this momentum in order to meet future challenges and aim for even higher performance. Following the announcement, the top students of the session were presented to the audience. These were Fadima Guira, the best girl, and Si Fran§ois d'Assise Kam, the best boy from the CEB, both from the Koloko B school.

Visibly moved, the two award winners expressed their gratitude to their teachers and parents for the support they received from first grade through fifth grade. They also reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing their studies diligently in order to maintain the excellence that earned them this distinction.
