Sourou: The High Commissioner of the Sourou province, D©sir© Badolo, has encouraged baccalaureate candidates to approach their exams calmly and without stress. This message was delivered during the official launch of the 2026 baccalaureate session at the Tougan municipal high school.
According to Burkina Information Agency, D©sir© Badolo, accompanied by a large delegation, officially initiated the written and oral examinations on June 23, 2026. He advised candidates to remain calm and focused during the tests and to avoid any form of cheating. Badolo emphasized the importance of following instructions and treating the exams as regular assignments.
The High Commissioner also highlighted the expectations on candidates to honor the efforts and sacrifices made by the Defense and Security Forces, Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland, educators, and parents. His remarks underscored the collective investment in the students’ success.
Joseph Karambiri, the provincial director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training, expressed gratitude to the High Commissioner and the delegation for their support. He noted a decrease in the number of candidates this year, from 690 to 592, with candidates divided between series A and D across the provincial and municipal high schools.
Karambiri also acknowledged the role of the defense and security forces in ensuring the smooth conduct of school examinations since the BEPC. The 592 candidates, comprising 317 girls and 275 boys, are participating in this year’s baccalaureate exams across two examination boards in Tougan.
