Koudougou: The Governor of the Nando region, Adama Jean Yves B©r©, officially launched the 2026 baccalaureate exams at the Koudougou Private Technical College (CPET/K), marking the commencement for 10,036 candidates in the region.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place in the presence of administrative, educational, and university authorities, along with representatives from the Defense and Security Forces (FDS). Governor B©r© initiated the exam tests for the 2026 session, emphasizing the importance of rigorous and professional execution of the exams.
Before the exams began, Governor B©r© visited the jury secretariat to assess the preparations and organizational arrangements. He praised the dedication of all involved parties and encouraged them to maintain high standards throughout the examination process.
In his address to the candidates, the Governor encouraged them to stay calm, trust in their abilities, and adhere to the values of hard work and integrity. He expressed confidence in the success of the candidates and hoped that the Nando region would perform exceptionally well at the national level.
The Nando region’s candidates include 5,080 girls and 4,956 boys, distributed across 32 examination centers and supervised by 43 juries. The regional data indicates that 8,806 candidates are enrolled in general education, 726 in technological education, and 504 in vocational education.
