Boulkiemd© Development Stakeholders Convene for Provincial Action Coordination

Boulkiemd©: The High Commissioner of the Boulkiemd© province, Salimata Ou©draogo/Sanou, presided over the first ordinary session of the year 2026 of the Provincial Consultation Framework (CCP) on Thursday in Koudougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting brought together administrative authorities, decentralized technical services, development partners, and representatives of civil society organizations. The session aimed to review the actions undertaken in the province, draw lessons learned, and identify opportunities for better coordination of development interventions.

In her opening speech, Salimata Ou©draogo/Sanou praised the mobilization of the various stakeholders around this framework for exchanges, which she described as a privileged tool for consultation and finding solutions to the development challenges of the province.

During the proceedings, the Secretary General of the province, F©lix Ou©draogo, presented a report on the administrative organization of the national territory and the responsibilities of the heads of administrative districts. He reiterated that these bodies perform three essential missions: representing the State, coordinating services, and exercising public authority. He also emphasized their role in maintaining public order and safety, as well as in coordinating the actions of technical services.

The Boulkiemd© Provincial Tax Directorate held a presentation on the conditions and procedures for issuing tax clearance certificates. The Provincial Director of Taxes, Kambou Sansan, explained that this document, in effect since January 1, 2023, and increasingly promoted within the public administration, can now be obtained online through the General Directorate of Taxes' e-Document platform. He encouraged users to prioritize this digital procedure, which allows for faster processing of applications.

The session also allowed the Burkinabe Red Cross and the Tout Pour Tous Yennenga association to present their projects as well as the main achievements recorded in the Boulkiemd© province for the benefit of the population. At the end of the discussions, the High Commissioner of Boulkiemd© expressed her satisfaction with the achievement of the objectives assigned to this first ordinary session of 2026. She expressed her gratitude to the partners for their constant support before officially declaring the proceedings closed.
