Como©/OSCEB Cup Final: Niangoloko Espoir A School Wins the Trophy

Ouagadougou: The final of the Primary School Sports, Culture and Recreation Organization (OSCEB) Cup for the Niangoloko Basic Education District (CEB) was held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Niangoloko municipal field, under the chairmanship of the head of the special municipal delegation, Ouss©ni Ou©draogo. At the end of the match, Niangoloko Espoir A School defeated Koutoura B School 5-4 on penalties to win the trophy.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the final was sponsored by economic operators Jean-Claude H©ma, Issouf Fayama, Ahmed Kon©, as well as the teacher, Soma n©e H©ma Tobignan Soma. Several prominent figures graced this final with their presence, including the representative of the President of Faso in the Tannounyan region, Ibrahim Kob©, promoters of football tournaments, the heads of basic education districts of the Tannounyan and Guiriko regions, the focal point of the 1968 class, Faki¨ Daniel H©ma, as well as directors and heads of departments.

The two teams kicked off the final at 4 p.m., offering the public an enjoyable spectacle. The first period was dominated by the Niangoloko Espoir A team. Despite this dominance, they encountered an excellent goalkeeper from the Koutoura B school, who managed to keep his net untouched.

After returning from the locker room, Koutoura B showed more initiative, making the match more balanced. Dominant during the first ten minutes of the second half, they nevertheless failed to convert their numerous opportunities. At the end of regulation time, the two teams were tied 0-0.

In the penalty shootout, Niangoloko Espoir A prevailed, converting 5 of their penalties to 4, and were crowned champions of the 2025-2026 season. The two finalists received prizes. Niangoloko Espoir A school, the winner, took home a trophy, a set of jerseys, two balls, and 100,000 FCFA. Koutoura B school received 75,000 FCFA, a set of jerseys, and a ball.

At the end of the final, the head of the Niangoloko Basic Education District, Hamidou Traor©, thanked all the partners for their various contributions to the success of this sporting event.
