Ouagadougou: The Joseph Kids private nursery and primary school is organizing a Day of Excellence to reward its best students of the 2025-2026 school year. The Joseph Kids private bilingual nursery and primary school organized on Saturday in Saaba a Day of Excellence dedicated to rewarding its best students of the 2025-2026 school year, after recording, for the third consecutive year, a 100% success rate in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) as well as in the various school compositions.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony aimed to recognize the achievements of deserving students and to encourage a culture of excellence within the school. On this occasion, the three top students in each class received school supplies and promotional items, while the student with the highest average in the school was presented with a bicycle. Certificates and honor rolls were also awarded to encourage the most deserving students and the support staff.
The head of the institution, Kokou Senyo Kety, expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to the smooth running of the school year. "This result is the fruit of the dedication and collective work of everyone involved in the school," he declared, while thanking his colleagues for the sacrifices made throughout the year. He also urged them to continue their efforts in order to maintain this momentum of excellence.
The school council president, Teinkela Mefenza Roger M., expressed his delight at the students' achievements. "Our greatest pride today is the exceptional result of our students. The school achieved a 100% pass rate on the CEP (Certificate of Primary Education)," he stated. Addressing the students who had passed the entrance exams for secondary school, he congratulated them on their progress and encouraged them to continue their efforts. "Today you leave the halls of Joseph Kids to continue your journey to secondary school. We are proud of you. You take with you the values of our school. Persevere and continue to shine wherever you go," he stated.
To the students still at the school, he reminded them that this success should serve as a source of motivation. According to him, such achievement is the result of long-term effort. He paid particular tribute to the school's founder for her vision and commitment to a quality educational environment. The chairman of the school council also commended the work of the administration, the leadership, and the teaching staff. "Thank you for your dedication, patience, and rigor, which allow our children to reach the top," he emphasized.
The ceremony's patron, Adama Ouedraogo, made no secret of his satisfaction with the results. "My joy as patron is immense. Dear graduates, you have set the bar very high with a 100% pass rate on the CEP," he declared. He added that achieving a perfect score on this national exam is a remarkable feat. The student representatives for kindergarten, Ngougni Tenkela, and primary school, Gloria Soulama, both praised the teachers for the quality of their instruction. They also thanked the parents for choosing this school. The ceremony was punctuated by several artistic performances, including songs, recitations and various entertainment presented by students and guest artists, in a festive atmosphere. The ceremony was also attended by administrative, customary and religious authorities from the commune of Saaba.
