Koosin: 108 Candidates Begin 2026 Sewing Qualification Certification Examination

Ouagadougou: The Professional Qualification Certification (CQP) examination commenced on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, marked by the ceremonial opening of the first envelope by Noufo Dembele, the High Commissioner of Koosin Province. He was joined by the president of the special delegation, military authorities, and the provincial director of secondary education. A total of 108 candidates, comprising 18 boys and 90 girls, are participating in the exam conducted across two examination boards at different centers.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Noufo Dembele's involvement in opening the first envelope of the written tests underscores the support from the highest authorities in the country. He expressed his best wishes for the candidates' success and extended gratitude to the teaching supervisors for their dedication.

The candidates, who include both boys and girls, are taking the exam at two jury locations. The CQP exam is designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Eligibility for the exam is extended to candidates from non-formal basic education centers (CEBNF) and independent candidates who possess a primary school certificate, provided they have submitted the necessary documentation.

Jury 157 is situated at the "Belleni Couture" training center and accommodates 63 candidates, with 45 women and 18 boys focusing on men's and women's tailoring. Meanwhile, Jury 159 is located at the CEBNF center, dedicated to ladies' couture, hosting 45 female candidates.
