Koudougou: Project manager Pema Neya conducted a field visit to the teams of the THIMO (High Intensity Labor Works) program deployed in the municipality of Koudougou. The visit aimed to support the ongoing sanitation operations in the city.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the primary goal of this visit was to express appreciation from authorities to the THIMO agents involved in the essential work of clearing gutters and cleaning the city's streets. Comrade Neya also provided guidance and technical advice to optimize the effectiveness of their field interventions.
Neya emphasized that urban sanitation is crucial for national development. He stated, "The development of a nation begins with concrete actions. Every street cleaned, every space cleared, and every effort made testifies to our shared desire to build a cleaner, more dignified, and more resilient Burkina Faso."
During his visit, Pema Neya expressed gratitude to the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, acknowledging his vision focused on discipline, hard work, and endogenous development as the foundations of the country's transformation. He praised the THIMO Technical Secretariat for its commitment to this public interest mission.
