Nayala: The High Commissioner ensures the final preparations are complete before the opening of the gendarmerie brigade. The High Commissioner of the Boulgou province, Constantin Dabire, visited the site of the future territorial gendarmerie brigade in Niaogho on Thursday to observe the progress of preparations, 48 hours before its official inauguration scheduled for July 4, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this visit allowed the province's top official to assess the level of execution of the work of the organizing committee and to mobilize the various actors involved in the success of the event, considered an important step for strengthening the security system in the municipality.

The High Commissioner praised the commitment of the people of Niaogho, the diaspora, and the technical and financial partners, whose contributions made this security infrastructure possible. He also congratulated the administrative authorities, the Defense and Security Forces, and all the vital forces for their involvement in the realization of this community project, intended to strengthen the security of people and property.

For their part, the local authorities expressed their gratitude to the High Commissioner for his constant support throughout the implementation of the project. Two days before the inauguration, an appeal was launched to the people of the commune of Niaogho as well as to the sons and daughters of the locality, to mobilize massively to make this ceremony a collective success, placed under the sign of unity, solidarity, and civic engagement in the service of local development.
