Ramongo: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Ramongo has declared the 2025-2026 school year a success, following its end-of-year review meeting held on Wednesday, July 1, at the Ramongo-Tanguen B primary school.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting was presided over by Wendtenda Paul Marie Zoma, the Head of the Basic Education District. It brought together educational supervisors, office managers, school directors, school council presidents, and partners to assess the activities of the year. The CCEB praised the significant participation and the dedication shown by all involved, encouraging them to continue their efforts to build on the district's accomplishments.

Issoufou Ouedraogo, the head of the Primary Education Office, presented a positive educational report, highlighting a success rate of 97.95% in the Primary School Certificate (CEP). The performances in various transition classes were also noted to be commendable.

In addition to academic achievements, the head of the Betio office, Aristide Jean Nagalo, expressed satisfaction with the execution of sports, cultural, and leisure activities, noting Kamsi A school's victory in a football competition. Meanwhile, Bonkoungou/Kagamb¨ga Christine from the Bureau of Non-Formal Education reported a 96.77% admission rate in adult literacy exams, further reflecting the district's educational success.

Patrice Yameogo, representing the School Councils, along with various presidents, presented the annual report of the CVEs, emphasizing their significant contribution to achieving the CEB's objectives despite being relatively new.

The meeting concluded with school principals contributing to the discussions and administrative information being shared. The CCEB expressed satisfaction with the year's educational, sporting, and cultural achievements and urged stakeholders to organize a successful academic excellence event planned for September. The CCEB extended gratitude to the community of Ramongo for their unwavering support for education.
