Gourma: The constituted bodies of Gourma province celebrated a remarkable 95.59% success rate for the 2026 Primary School Certificate (CEP) during a ceremony at the Mobile Customs Brigade headquarters in Fada N'Gourma. The event, held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, was presided over by Botessan Bonou, the Secretary General of Gourma province, and included the raising of the national flag accompanied by the national anthem, the Ditany¨.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Principal Customs Inspector Joanny Oueda, head of the Fada N'Gourma Mobile Customs Brigade, expressed appreciation for the strong mobilization of the constituted bodies. He described this as a testament to the State services' cohesion and their commitment alongside the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) in the efforts to reclaim national territory, secure the country, and combat fraud. Oueda encouraged public officials to continue their mission with integrity, patriotism, and dedication, despite the prevailing security challenges.

Ahadi Idani, the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Gourma, highlighted the impressive 95.59% success rate achieved in the 2026 CEP exam. He extended gratitude to all stakeholders in the education system for their contributions to this achievement amid a challenging security environment. Idani also acknowledged the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) for their consistent support in ensuring children's right to education.

Secretary General Botessan Bonou congratulated various services for their accomplishments in their respective sectors.
