Ouagadougou: The Nebielianayou Basic Education District (CEB) celebrated the second edition of "Principals' Day" on Friday, July 3, 2026, with a focus on enhancing social cohesion among educators and creating an improved learning environment for students. This event featured impactful activities and an educational review that underscored its significance.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the day's events commenced with tree planting in the inspection area, followed by the installation of a CEB sign contributed by the sports and culture office. The activities culminated in a friendly gathering over refreshments, fostering camaraderie among participants.

Comrade Nongma Zongo, Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Nebielianayou, expressed satisfaction with the event's success, noting its uniqueness and community support. He highlighted the role of Simon Ido, a local patron, in supporting the initiative and strengthening ties between the community and educational leaders.

The CCEB praised Ido's symbolic gesture, which included the donation of two trees, as a means to reinforce lasting community relationships. Zongo emphasized the importance of such initiatives for the smooth operation of educational activities and called for making the event a regular occurrence to maintain high student performance.

Comrade Germain Compaore, spokesperson for the school directors and director of the Pala school, extended gratitude to the teaching staff and sponsor Ido. He emphasized the significance of the day in promoting good practices and congratulated colleagues on achieving a 97.64% success rate in the 2026 Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP) examination, placing Nebielianayou CEB at the forefront in Sissili province.

Compaore affirmed the directors' commitment to upholding these standards in future sessions, appreciating the ongoing pedagogical support from local supervisors, led by Mr. Kalibao Nabie, head of the BEPrim office.
