Burkina faso: 167 civilian personnel from the Ministry of War and Patriotic Defense who completed their civic and patriotic immersion at the Loumbila Training and Production Center were invited on Saturday to become ambassadors of discipline, civic-mindedness, and patriotism within the Burkinabe administration and society.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the director of the Loumbila Training and Production Center, Captain Daouda Dao, addressed the participants at the conclusion of their program. He emphasized that they are now ambassadors of civic duty, patriotism, discipline, and order, urging them to spread these values in their respective departments, among colleagues, within families, and in everyday life.
Captain Dao highlighted that this immersion program aligns with the vision of Burkina Faso's highest authorities, who regard discipline, order, civic responsibility, and patriotism as fundamental to the nation's development. The initiative aims to create an exemplary administration led by individuals committed to duty and the common good.
Furthermore, Captain Dao commended the Minister of State, Minister of War and Patriotic Defense, for initiating the project. He believes this effort strengthens cohesion, solidarity, team spirit, mutual aid, and sharing, crucial elements for the effective accomplishment of the administration's missions.
Representing the participants, Mohamed Konate expressed gratitude to Burkina Faso's authorities for providing this training opportunity. He noted that the immersion allowed them to better understand their country and reinforce their commitment to discipline, loyalty, solidarity, rigor, and patriotism.
Konate conveyed that the lessons learned would help consolidate staff cohesion, foster a sense of public good, and enhance their dedication to the national interest. He also thanked the trainers, instructors, and supervisors for their professionalism, patience, and support throughout the training, while seeking forgiveness for any shortcomings during the immersion.
The 167 agents, divided into two groups, received training on topics such as the National Patriotic Service, close order drill, first aid, topography, weaponry, and marksmanship, including practical sessions. The first group of 91 participants underwent training from June 21 to 27, followed by the second group of 76 agents from June 27 to July 2, 2026.
