Gnagna: Barely had the results of the 2026 Professional Qualification Certificate (CQP) been announced when the successful candidates in the Gnagna province marked the event with a powerful civic gesture. They immediately launched the "My CQP, My Tree" initiative, which links each diploma obtained to the planting of a tree. In an atmosphere of joy and pride, the new graduates wanted to immortalize their success with a concrete commitment to environmental protection and the fight against desertification.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the 2026 session of the CQP in Gnagna achieved remarkable results. Of the 243 registered candidates, 211 actually sat the exam and 198 were declared successful, representing a provincial pass rate of 93.83%. Several programs, including women's tailoring, men's tailoring, metalwork, dyeing, weaving, moped and motorcycle mechanics, and building electrical assistance, achieved a 100% pass rate.

For the organizers, the "My CQP, My Tree" campaign reflects the desire of young people to actively contribute to the preservation of forest heritage while celebrating professional excellence. They invited future graduating classes to perpetuate this tradition so that each CQP class leaves an ecological legacy for the benefit of future generations. Through this dual celebration of excellence and environmental commitment, the 2026 graduates demonstrate that vocational training can also be a powerful lever for citizenship and sustainable development.
