K©n©dougou: The people of the Koloko commune strengthen their support for the VDP (Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland) with a donation of food. The sons and daughters of the commune of Koloko demonstrated their solidarity with the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) on Tuesday through a donation of food intended to support their security actions.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation, consisting of two 50-kilogram bags of rice, six cartons of spaghetti, six bags of macaroni, four five-liter cans of oil and four packets of food cubes, was handed over to the VDP communal coordinator, Tiahounot© Julien Kambou, brigade commander of the Koloko gendarmerie, in the presence of the communal authorities and several VDP.

On behalf of the donors, Moussa Traor© stated that this gesture aims to express the gratitude and support of the sons and daughters of the commune for the sacrifices made in defense of the homeland by the VDP (Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland). He assured them that the community would remain mobilized alongside the fighters through other support initiatives.

On this occasion, the local coordinator of the VDP (Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland) praised this outpouring of solidarity, which, according to him, encourages the volunteers working in the field. He invited those of goodwill to further support the VDP's efforts before reaffirming their commitment to continuing their mission of protecting the population.

The first vice-president of the Koloko Special Delegation, Tayourou Traor©, for his part, praised this citizen initiative, which contributes to strengthening the resilience of the fighting forces. While thanking the donors, he urged the population to maintain their support for the security forces and the volunteers whose commitment helps preserve security and peace in the municipality.
