Ouagadougou: Professional journalist Seyni Yam©ogo, who also promotes the YAMtv channel, has been awarded the sixth prize in the 2026 Photo Competition organized by Faso Tourisme, AIB has learned.

According to Burkina Information Agency, his photograph titled "The Sentinels of the Savannah" enabled him to stand out among eighty entries. For this edition, Yam©ogo submitted three photographs dedicated to tourist sites and abstract images, adhering to the competition's rules.

Beyond his commitment to journalism, Seyni Yam©ogo has nurtured a passion for photography for several years. This award confirms his consistent success in this field: in 2024, he had already won third prize in the national Wiki Loves Earth Burkina Faso photo competition.

Recognized for his work in cultural journalism and the treatment of social issues, Seyni Yam©ogo now boasts two awards from two participations in photography competitions, a journey that illustrates his artistic vision and commitment to enhancing natural heritage through images.
