Ouagadougou: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Niangoloko, Oussni Oudraogo, spearheaded an information and awareness meeting on Friday, July 17, 2026, aimed at educating the young populace about the establishment of the National Consultative Youth Council of Burkina Faso (CNCJ-BF).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the gathering, which took place at the Niangoloko town hall, saw participation from various organizations, associations, youth movements, and numerous young residents. The primary objective was to elucidate the goals and responsibilities of the CNCJ-BF. During the meeting, the interministerial decree outlining the procedures for selecting members of the bureaus was presented and thoroughly explained, ensuring that all youth and related organizations had equal access to the necessary information before forming the Niangoloko municipal bureau.

The event served as a platform for collecting concerns and suggestions from the youth to enhance their involvement in shaping public policies that benefit young people. The open and participatory dialogue enabled attendees to voice their questions and seek clarity regarding the process. The President of the special delegation urged the youth to actively participate in creating a dynamic and representative office that would advocate for the interests of Niangoloko's youth.

Participants expressed satisfaction with the explanations regarding the interministerial decree and pledged their commitment to advancing the interests of Niangoloko's urban youth community. The appointment of the Niangoloko municipal office members is anticipated in the coming days.
