Ouagadougou: The Yagba primary school concluded its school year with a festive celebration, marking a second consecutive year of achieving a 100% success rate in the Primary School Certificate (CEP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the achievement saw all 29 CM2 students, along with two independent candidates, successfully passing the CEP exam. This accomplishment was attributed to the collective efforts of teachers, students, and parents, as stated by the school's headmaster, Souleymane Ouily, who extended his congratulations to the teaching staff, particularly highlighting the dedication of the fifth-grade teacher.

The headmaster also expressed gratitude to the school's alumni from Ouagadougou for their financial support of the ceremony, as well as the school council and the Head of the Poa Basic Education District (CCEB), Desire Rouamba, for their continuous support throughout the academic year.

School council chairman Yahaya Kabore commended the involvement of Yagba natives residing in Ouagadougou and the commitment of the school's director and teaching staff. During the ceremony, recognition was given through a presentation of a Kokodonda loincloth to the fifth-grade teacher, along with certificates of appreciation to teachers, the CCEB, and the head of the Yagba CSPS for their contributions.

The Poa Community Education Center (CCEB) congratulated the teachers and advised students to engage in agricultural and income-generating activities during the holidays. It encouraged them to consider careers in farming, animal husbandry, welding, and carpentry to foster self-reliance.

The ceremony concluded with a message promoting peace and unity for Burkina Faso.
