According to Burkina Information Agency, regarding the Sahara issue, the American President confirmed to the Sovereign that "the United States is clear: we recognize Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara and we support the serious, credible and realistic Moroccan autonomy proposal as the only basis for a just and lasting solution." President Trump also emphasized that any alternative path would prolong the current situation, which is deemed unacceptable, and underscored the urgency of resolving the dispute, pledging continued American efforts towards this goal.
President Trump highlighted King Mohammed VI's leadership as a stabilizing force.
