Rabat: The Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism (MCCAT), PingdwendGilbert OU€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬°DRAOGO, participated on the evening of Friday, July 31, 2026, in the Concert of Resilience and Triumph organized by the Presidential Orchestra of Faso at the Place de la Nation in Manga, the capital of the Nazinon region.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in his opening address, the Conductor of the Presidential Orchestra of Faso, Commander AimC©saire BoezemwendOU€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬°DRAOGO, stated that this evening went beyond a simple musical celebration. He emphasized that the concert pays tribute to the resilience of the Burkinab¨ people and recalls, through music, the values of hope, unity, and fraternity that underpin the Nation.
Fueled by a strong turnout from the residents of Togo and the surrounding areas, the evening unfolded in an atmosphere of patriotic fervor. To the rhythm of songs of resilience and unity performed by the Presidential Orchestra of Burkina Faso, the audience joined in singing several pieces. Numerous prominent figures in Burkinab¨ music also participated in the show, reinforcing the unifying nature of this cultural celebration.
Speaking at the event, Minister PingdwendGilbert Ou©draogo reiterated that the Presidential Orchestra of Burkina Faso aligns with the vision of the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, to promote a cultural revitalization based on the appreciation of the arts and national values. He praised the quality of its performances, its promotion of Faso Dan Fani fabric, and its expression of national cultural diversity-all assets that contribute to its influence both in Burkina Faso and internationally.
The Minister also invited the people of Nazinon to be active participants in the transformation of Burkina Faso through patriotism, civic responsibility, and behavioral change. Finally, he reaffirmed the strategic role of communication and culture in consolidating peace and national sovereignty. "We will win the war with weapons, we will win the peace through communication, and we will consolidate this peace through culture," he declared, before urging the people to remain united around the ideals of sovereignty, dignity, and development.
