Ouagadougou: The Association of United Youth for the Development of Zoundwogo (AJUDPZ) rewarded, on Saturday in Bind, the best students, teachers and education actors of the Basic Education District (CEB), in recognition of their performance in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) exams and the entrance exam to sixth grade, marked by a success rate of 97%.According to Burkina Information Agency, this AJUDPZ initiative aims to promote a culture of excellence and encourage students and teachers to continue their efforts to improve academic results. Compaor Landry, the top student in the CEB (Basic Education Center), a pupil at the Ouda public primary school, received a bicycle as a reward for his excellent performance. This is the third bicycle he has received thanks to his academic achievements.The top performer in the CEB, Nikiema Rosalie Ivonne, from Koankin Public Primary School, was also rewarded with a bicycle, the second she has received due to her outstanding results. The other deserving students re ceived school kits to support them in continuing their studies.During the ceremony, several teachers and individuals who contributed to the advancement of education in the community were honored with certificates of recognition and letters of congratulations. The CEB of Bind also benefited from a laptop computer donated by AJUDPZ in order to strengthen its administrative management capacities.The Head of the Bind Basic Education District (CCEB), Issouf Kabr, welcomed this initiative, which he described as a major contribution to promoting academic excellence. He expressed his gratitude to the AJUDPZ officials for their ongoing commitment to education. The canton chief of Bind, Naaba Yanbolobo II, also congratulated the association for its support of education stakeholders and invited the students to persevere in their effort and discipline.The ceremony concluded with the presentation of awards to several individuals recognized for their support of educational development in the commune of Bind. It broug ht together the administrative, customary and religious authorities of the municipality, as well as many actors in the education system.
