Bal: The "Faso D¨m¨" Association of Sibi rehabilitates the Boromo-Lanfiera Dedougou regional road: The president of the Faso D¨m¨ association and its members stormed the regional road on August 13, 2026, equipped with materials to fill potholes. This action, in line with the vision of the Progressive People's Revolution, aims to promote social cohesion and foster development.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Boromo-Lanfiera-Dedougou regional road has reached a very advanced stage of deterioration, especially on the Boromo-Sibi section. In light of this, significant efforts are being made to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.

The Faso D¨m¨ association has taken the initiative to contribute in order to allow users to move around in complete peace of mind. Thus, Charente motorcycles loaded with rubble and earth were used to fill in certain sections that were very dangerous for traffic.

Karim Ganou, President of the Faso D¨m¨ Association, stated: "We are a Dozo brotherhood. We established this association to address a number of challenges within the community, such as what we are doing today. Anything in the area that requires our help, we will not hesitate to lend our support."

During the work, the Association received a visit from administrative authorities, represented by the ROPI service, and from the traditional authority, represented by the village chief, His Majesty Siaka Ganou. This courtesy visit and show of encouragement further reinforced the Faso D¨m¨ Association's efforts.

"We are proud of the visit from the Chief of the village of Sibi; it shows that we are on the right track. And this August 13th will not be our last action," said Karim Ganou.
