Ouagadougou: The conscripts of the Mandatory Patriotic Immersion (IPO) at the Banwa Provincial High School site received a donation of food on Wednesday from the supervisors of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) stationed at the site. The donation consists of 10 cartons of spaghetti, 19 packs of drinks (12 cans each), 5 packs of macaroni, and 12 bags of rice (25 kg each), all valued at 229,400 FCFA.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the donors stated that the donation aims to support the conscripts' diet and demonstrate solidarity. The handover took place in the presence of the provincial director of secondary, vocational, and technical education for Banwa Sibada, known as Sianta Youmou, who praised this gesture of solidarity from the FDS supervisors.
This donation is part of the second edition of the IPO 2026 program, which aims to instill in young conscripts the values of discipline, civic responsibility, solidarity, and love of country.
