Ouagadougou: Faced with the severe deterioration of the Yako-Pilimpikou road, the youth of the commune of Pilimpikou mobilized on Saturday, August 15, 2026, to carry out maintenance work on this road which was particularly degraded by the rains.

According to Burkina Information Agency, using the resources available to them, the young people pitched in to improve the road and facilitate traffic flow. This mobilization demonstrates their civic engagement and their desire to contribute to improving living conditions in their community.

This initiative is in line with the vision of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor, who encourages people to mobilize in their localities around projects of common interest and to actively participate in the development of their communities.

To carry out this civic action, the young people benefited from the guidance and support of several people of goodwill, including the special municipal delegation of Pilimpikou.

This mobilization of the youth of Pilimpikou could inspire other similar initiatives in the commune and contribute to strengthening civic engagement at the local level.
