Ouagadougou: 56 candidates are taking the professional examination for the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude for Primary School Teachers. The theoretical test of the 2027 session of the professional examination for the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude for Primary School Teaching (CAPPE) took place on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the examination center of the Yako-Mixte B school, under good conditions. Of the 56 registered candidates, all actually took part in the exam. Welcomed and seated in the rooms from 6:30 a.m., the candidates began the exam at 7:30 a.m., for a duration of three hours, under the supervision of those in charge of organizing the exam.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Passor, Mahamoudou Kiogo, toured the various examination rooms to encourage the candidates. He was accompanied by the head of the Examinations and Competitions department, Pierre Clestin Zerbo, and the head of the Sports, Cultural and Leisure Activities department, Souleymane Zida. This visit aimed to ensure compliance with organizational arrangements and the regularity of operations, while ensuring that candidates were provided with an environment conducive to a calm and fair selection process.

At the end of his tour, the provincial director urged the candidates to remain calm, focused, and attentive to respecting the instructions. The CAPPE is an important step in the professional career of primary school teachers. It allows candidates to showcase their skills and experience and, for those who meet the requirements, to access a higher professional category.
