Tnado Defense and Security Forces Triumph in Social Cohesion Trophy Victory

Ouagadougou: The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) of Tnado won the social cohesion trophy on Saturday, August 29, by defeating the municipal team of the locality known as the Forces Vives with a score of 2-1. The match took place on the Saint Augustin field during the visit of the Minister of State, Minister of War and Patriotic Defense, General Clestin Simpor, who aimed to bolster the morale of the troops present.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the local team began the match energetically, with striker Badabou Bamouni scoring within the first five minutes. They maintained dominance for the initial 20 minutes of the game. However, the FDS returned from halftime revitalized and equalized through Abdoul Fatao Tiendrbogo. They then secured their lead with a decisive goal by Justin Nikima.

The FDS maintained control of the match after gaining the lead, holding their advantage until the final whistle. The Forces Vives de Tnado striker noted their lack of preparation time and ineffective substitutions, expressing determination to perform better in future matches.

General Simpor remarked that the victory was a collective success for Tnado, Nando, and Burkina Faso. He extended gratitude to all who supported the event. The FDS team was awarded the trophy, a set of jerseys, two balls, and the gold medal, while the Forces Vives de Tnado received a smaller trophy, a set of jerseys, two balls, and the silver medal.
