Ouagadougou: Members of the special delegation of the commune of Zambo received training on Monday, September 6, 2026, on taking into account human rights and the principle of "Leaving no one behind" (LNOB) in local finances. The objective is to strengthen the capacities of the members of the special delegation, in order to promote better consideration of human rights and the needs of the different components of the population in the planning and management of community resources.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the training, held in the Zambo town hall's reception hall, was made possible thanks to the Decentralization and Social Cohesion Program (PDCS). It was led by Maxime Sagnon and Aya Lompo. Participants were made aware of the importance of inclusive, equitable, and non-discriminatory local management.

At the close of the work, the President of the special delegation (PDS) of Zambo, Tassr Badini, invited the participants to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the training. He urged them to use the achievements of this session as a tool to improve local governance and financial management, ensuring that no category of the population is left behind.

The training is part of efforts to strengthen the capacities of local actors for better governance and sustainable social cohesion in the municipality of Zambo.
