Ouagadougou: The Gathering of Intelligences for the Sovereignty of Africa (RISA) is emphasizing cooperation between combat forces and local populations to expedite the reconquest of the Goulmou, Sirba, and Tapoa regions. According to Burkina Information Agency, RISA organized a public civil-military conference in Fada N'Gourma on September 10, 2026, focused on strengthening collaboration to improve the effectiveness of regional reconquest efforts.

The conference, themed "Strengthening the synergy of action between the fighting forces and populations for greater effectiveness in the reconquest," brought together representatives from the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), and local civilian populations. Moumouni Yougbar, the regional coordinator of RISA, emphasized the initiative's goal to enhance the co-production of security in response to terrorist threats.

Captain Jo«l Arnaud Sanou, on behalf of the commander of the 6th military region and head of the operations center of the Eastern Security Force Group (GFSE), praised the meeting. He highlighted its role in improving information sharing between civilians and combat units and encouraged civilians to provide valuable information to the forces in the field.

Adjima Kouadima, representing the sponsor, urged the people of Goulmou to set aside personal differences in favor of solidarity, social cohesion, and collective welfare. He called for them to become "VDPs of social cohesion and collaboration with the FDS."

In addition to the conference, a blood drive was conducted to assist individuals requiring blood transfusions. The event concluded with a call for the populations of Goulmou, Sirba, and Tapoa to increase their support of combat forces, aiding in the reconquest and stabilization of the region.
