Mouhoun: A special operation initiated by the National Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations (CNAVC), Bondoukuy communal section, successfully enrolled 371 individuals for the Biometric Identity Card of the Confederation of Sahel States (CIB-AES) between September 8 and 10, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the operation was conducted by a team from the Ddougou branch of the National Identification Office (ONI), led by Siaka Bako. With support from the Bondoukuy territorial gendarmerie brigade, the team visited the localities of Bounivouhoun, Koumana, and Bondoukuy-centre to provide identification services directly to residents.

The initiative was overseen by Seydou Zongo, head of the CNAVC, Bondoukuy communal section. It allowed those enrolled to obtain necessary identity documents ahead of a planned march-meeting on September 30, 2026, in Bounivouhoun, organized by the CNAVC, Bondoukuy section.

Comrade Zongo emphasized that the operation demonstrated a commitment to meeting the community's needs by improving access to identification services. He expressed gratitude towards the ONI team in Ddougou and the security forces for their role in the operation's success.

Lazare Bado, President of the special delegation (PDS) of Bondoukuy, expressed support for this local initiative, noting its importance in addressing challenges faced by residents in acquiring identity documents. This effort is part of ongoing initiatives within the municipality to enhance service accessibility.
