Conscripts Enhance Ipelc Gendarmerie Brigade Through Patriotic Initiative

Ipelc: The conscripts of the mandatory patriotic immersion 2026 carried out the cleaning of the territorial gendarmerie brigade of Ipelc, on Saturday, September 12, 2026. An initiative supported by the gendarmes and responsible municipal representatives.

According to Burkina Information Agency, equipped with wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, hoes, and machetes, the conscripts for the 2026 mandatory patriotic immersion in Ipelc put into practice the values learned during their training by initiating hygiene and sanitation work in their community. At the Ipelc territorial gendarmerie brigade, they participated in the cleaning and maintenance of the premises, thus giving concrete expression to the civic and patriotic values promoted during their immersion.

The activity took place during a courtesy visit by conscripts to the Ipelc territorial gendarmerie brigade, which was newly established in the town about three months ago. The young people chose to put their words into action by contributing to improving the working conditions of the gendarmes.

Accompanied by brigade personnel and a representative from the special delegation of the municipality of Ipelc, the conscripts mobilized to make the premises cleaner and more welcoming. This initiative demonstrates their commitment to putting into practice the values of patriotism and civic responsibility they received during their mandatory patriotic immersion program.

The brigade commander, Comrade Madi Oudraogo, expressed his gratitude to the conscripts for their initiative and for choosing the gendarmerie space. He commended their commitment and encouraged them to live out the values they learned during their immersion in their daily lives. He specifically urged them to continue promoting patriotism, solidarity, courage, and hard work, while remaining committed to working alongside the community's active forces for the protection and development of Ipelc, and indeed, Burkina Faso as a whole.
