Nahouri: The commune of Godyr celebrated communal school excellence on Saturday, September 12 in Kandarzana, during a ceremony held under the patronage of the President of the Special Delegation (PDS), Adama Congo, and the sponsorship of a son of the locality, Bdabou Bazi. The event provided an opportunity to reward the best students in preschool, primary, post-primary, and secondary school for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years, as well as deserving teachers for their commitment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony took place in the presence of the Provincial Director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training, Rasmata Guingan, the Head of Mission of the Ministry of Security, as well as the vital forces and populations of the commune. The PDS of Godyr, Adama Congo, praised the efforts of education stakeholders and invited them to persevere in order to make the commune a benchmark in this area.

The sponsor, Bdabou Bazi, reiterated his commitment to supporting local development initiatives, particularly in the education sector. Invited to speak, the Head of Mission of the Ministry of Security focused his intervention on civic and patriotic values, urging the assembly to cultivate integrity, honesty, living together, and social cohesion, in accordance with the principles of the Manifesto of the Popular Progressive Revolution.
