Niamey: The President of the Republic of Niger, Head of State, General Abdourahamane Tiani, signed a decree on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, reorganizing the government with the appointment of four new ministers, according to a statement from the General Secretariat of the Nigerien Government, Mahamane Roufai Laouali.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Colonel Bilaly Elhadj Gambobo has been appointed as the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock. Abdourahamane Oumarou has taken on the role of Minister of Refoundation and Promotion of Social Values. Lieutenant-Colonel Seyni Alzouma has been named Minister of Energy, while Hamani Kargne will serve as Minister of Communication and New Information Technologies.
