Ouagadougou: Primary education inspector Alassane Sawadogo officially took command of the Basic Education District (CEB) of N'Dorola on Monday, September 14, 2026, following a handover ceremony with his predecessor, Dahourou Kam. The ceremony was presided over by Abou Sanon, representing the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Kndougou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Mamadou Ouattara, speaking on behalf of all the teachers of the N'dorola Primary School District, commended the outgoing district's leadership and commitment to improving academic performance. He noted that the pass rate for the Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP) had increased from 85.43% in 2023-2024 to 93.42% in 2025-2026, illustrating the progress made by the district in recent years.
The outgoing CCEB, Dahourou Kam, expressed his gratitude to the administrative authorities, teachers, and communities for their support during his tenure at the head of the CEB. "The results achieved are the fruit of a collective commitment. I thank all those who contributed to these achievements and remain available to support any initiative for the development of education," he stated.
Upon receiving the insignia of his new position, Alassane Sawadogo expressed his gratitude to his superiors for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the momentum already underway. "I am fully aware of the importance of the mission entrusted to me. With the support of all stakeholders, we will work to consolidate our achievements and meet the challenges for an ever more successful school," he stated.
The representative of the DPEPPNF of Kndougou, Abou Sanon, paid tribute to the outgoing CCEB for his work before inviting his successor to continue the efforts already underway. "Dahourou Kam leaves behind a constituency with positive momentum. We express our gratitude for his commitment. We wish the new CCEB every success and reaffirm the support of the hierarchy in the fulfillment of his mission," he emphasized.
